Safeguarding
At Mary’s House, safeguarding is a shared responsibility. Everyone involved in the life of the community—including members, volunteers, and people attending events—has a part to play in helping to create a space that is safe, respectful, and attentive to the wellbeing of all. We are committed to good safeguarding practice, including spiritual safeguarding: being mindful of power, boundaries, language, and spiritual practices, so that participation is always life-giving, and never harmful or coercive. Liz Dudley is the named safeguarding person for Mary’s House and can be contacted with any concerns. Our full safeguarding policy, including how to raise concerns, can be read here: [Safeguarding Policy]
