Prayer shed

Once a ruined gardener's shed, this building was skilfully rebuilt by local firm, Ben Lloyd and is now in use as a 24 prayer space.

People who pray - from all faiths and none - are welcome to book a slot and find some quiet here.

In September 2024, we welcomed Justin Welby, then archbishop, to officially open the prayer shed, and take part in our first 24 hours of prayer.

It is our hope that this room will become – a space where people pray every hour of every day, passing the batten to the next person like a relay race.  Our expectation is that as this wave of prayer builds, the town and surrounding villages of Frome will experience a transformation beyond what we can imagine or describe.
