dialogue

Dialogue is a sacred exchange that seeks understanding and unity rather than dominance or conversion. It is rooted in humility, active listening and mutual respect. Richard Rohr reminds us that “transformation happens more through relationships than through ideas” (The Divine Dance), emphasising that dialogue must be relational rather than argumentative. In true dialogue, the spirit within “me” meets the spirit within “you”, recognising that God’s wisdom is revealed through our shared experiences and diverse worldviews. When practiced in the spirit of love, dialogue allows different traditions to learn from one another and discover the shared depth of their faith.
